Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location : Camden, ME 04843

Pay Rate : $21 to $25 hourly on W2

Shift : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Job Description :

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Camden, ME, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily activities while promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities :

Personal Care : Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times.

Mobility Assistance : Help residents with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injuries.

Medication Assistance : Support licensed nursing staff by reminding residents to take medications and assisting with medication administration under their supervision.

Vital Signs Monitoring : Record and report residents' vital signs accurately, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.

Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care activities, observations, and any changes in their condition.

Emotional Support : Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to promote their social well-being.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and therapists, to ensure holistic care for residents.

Qualifications :

Certification : Must hold a valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maine.

Experience : Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.

Compassion : Genuine empathy and compassion for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.

Communication : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Physical Stamina : Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
